The artist has always had an affinity for antique objects, specifically furniture. In Family Event, a work about marriage, a video of an extramarital affair plays repeatedly in a partially closed antique cabinet that obscures its full viewing. Interested viewers are forced to watch the video through a small opening in the cabinet, prying and enacting a breach of privacy.
老物件一直是我挪移的符號，《家庭事件》運用傢俱作為家庭的隱喻，作品以婚姻關係為文本，真實的拍攝一段婚外情過程，透過影像傳達婚姻不只是法律上的規範，更是道德觀與價值觀的認知，而”事件”的錄像被放置在古傢俱的櫃中，並將傢俱變形，只有部分影像得以被觀賞，觀眾須以窺探的方式去觀看，閱讀影像的私密性及情感之間的分裂狀態。
