Installation
Machetes and mirrors
390 (H) x 270 (W) x 270 (D) cm
The nearly four-meter-high work Pillar utilizes a series of steel knives, stacked up in concentric circles. A stainless steel mirror is laid on the ground below it, reflecting a threatening and imposing structure. This work was made specifically to be installed in high buildings, encouraging questions about the unease and crisis we feel in day to day life in “modernized” societies.
